Driver App

Drivers use a deliberately small slice of Logistall — just their own assigned shipments and their own truck, with a way to update both from the road. That’s enough to keep dispatch and customers informed in real time without giving every driver the run of the system. This page covers what a driver sees and can do.

If you sign in as a driver (the trucker role), Logistall takes you straight to My Loads instead of the dashboard — drivers don’t see the dashboard, and the sidebar is limited to My Loads and My Vehicle.

My Loads lists only the shipments assigned to you, sorted by scheduled delivery date (soonest first) — so the load at the top of the list is always the one that needs your attention next. For each shipment you see the shipment number, your customer reference, its current status, and its scheduled delivery date.

Keep dispatch and the customer informed from the road

Section titled “Keep dispatch and the customer informed from the road”

Every status change and tracking event you record lands on the same shipment record your dispatchers see — and on the public tracking link if one has been shared for that shipment — so a quick update at a rest stop can save dispatch a phone call.

Selecting Update on a shipment in My Loads opens a drawer with two things you can do:

  1. Select Update on the shipment.
  2. Pick a new status from booked, pickup scheduled, in transit, at hub, out for delivery, delivered, exception, or returned.
  3. Save.

Draft and cancelled aren’t offered here; those are set by dispatchers.

  1. Select Update on the shipment.
  2. Pick an event type: pickup, departure, arrival, in transit, out for delivery, delivered, or exception.
  3. Optionally add a description and city, then save.

This adds a timestamped entry to the shipment’s tracking timeline — the same timeline your dispatchers see on the Shipments page and that shows up on a public tracking link if one has been shared for that shipment.

Report your vehicle’s status and odometer

Section titled “Report your vehicle’s status and odometer”

My Vehicle shows the single truck currently assigned to you: its plate, type, make, model, status, and odometer reading. If no vehicle is assigned to you, the page shows a message instead of a form.

From here you can update two things about your vehicle:

  1. Its status — available, on route, maintenance, retired, or inspecting. If the truck breaks down or goes in for service, set it to maintenance so dispatch sees on the Fleet Map that it’s out of action.
  2. Its odometer reading — keeping this current helps the office track service intervals and fuel efficiency.
