Organization Settings

Some settings shape how the whole company works rather than a single record: the company details that print on every invoice, two-factor authentication, which optional modules your team sees in the sidebar, and the shared Documents library. This page covers all four, and who can change what.

The My Organization page shows your company’s profile: its name and legal name, tax and registration numbers, contact details, address, and a few operational stats (founded year, employee count, fleet size, primary currency).

To update it:

  1. Open My Organization and select Edit.
  2. Work through the four groups — Legal, Profile, Contact, and Address.
  3. Save.

Scenario: your company moves offices, or re-registers under a new RC number. Update it here once, and every invoice you generate from that point on carries the correct details — the legal identifiers you enter here (ICE, RC (registre de commerce), VAT, CNSS, and Patente numbers) are pulled directly onto the letterhead of every invoice PDF you generate, along with your company name, legal name, and address.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is enrolled from this same page, under its Security section — not from the login screen. This is where you scan the QR code, confirm it with a 6-digit code, and save your one-time recovery codes.

Also under Security, but visible only to the Company Owner, is a Log Retention control for setting how long each category of audit log is kept — choose a preset period or enter a custom number of days, up to a maximum set for each category. A nightly sweep enforces whatever you’ve chosen, so entries older than the retention period are cleaned up automatically.

Logistall’s core workflow — dashboard, shipments, customers, invoices, fleet, users, roles, and similar — is always available and can’t be turned off. On top of that, a set of optional modules can be switched on or off for your company from the Features page (in the Admin section of the sidebar). Use this to keep the sidebar down to what your company actually uses — a domestic road carrier that never touches reefer loads can switch Cold Chain off and never see it.

  • Ops Intelligence — Expenses, Carrier Scorecards, SLA
  • Scheduling — Appointments
  • Contracts — Customer Contracts
  • Insurance — Insurance Policies, Demurrage
  • Compliance — Driver Hours-of-Service
  • Procurement — Vendors, Purchase Orders
  • Load Planning — Load Plans
  • Cold Chain — Temperature Logs
  • Fleet Map — the live vehicle map
  • Rate Cards — rate cards and the quote calculator
  • API Access — the API Keys page, where you generate API keys and webhooks (see FAQ → Where do I find API keys?)

Each module shows as a toggle with an on/off state and the pages it controls. Turning a module off hides its page(s) from the sidebar and blocks navigating to them directly, for everyone in your company — turning it back on restores them immediately.

The Documents page is a company-wide library of shipment and compliance paperwork — bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, customs entries, proof of delivery, hazmat declarations, insurance certificates, inspection reports, weight certificates, fumigation certificates, and a general “other” category.

To add a document:

  1. Give it a type and a file name.
  2. Add a link to where the file actually lives — Logistall stores the reference and metadata, not the file itself.
  3. Optionally link it to a shipment, a carrier, or a customer, and add a MIME type, an expiry date, and notes.

Scenario: your carrier’s insurance certificate is valid until March. Add it with type insurance certificate, mark it Verified, and set the expiry date — then, when renewal season comes, filter the table by expiry to see exactly which paperwork is coming due.

The table supports the same search, sort, filter, and pagination controls as the rest of Logistall — see Searching & filtering tables.
